Sihle Mlambo Mphela-bolous

Remember when the country bemoaned Katlego Mphela’s inclusion in the 23-man squad for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, well yes, I do, you should too, further more. He wore the much adorned number 9 jersey.

The same old story of Gauteng based club-play

Samuel David Kidnappers

Can someone hear me loud. These arm robbers turn kidnappers are spoiling the name of the real mllitants that hands off the ransome work. They militants should be drafted in to fetch out these criminals or else those in the glasshouse that are against the new coach Lagerback will use these criminals to kidnap Lagerback for their ransome. May God help us. Continue

Sihle Mlambo The Final 23 man squad for the world cup

Ok, well, I was at the SAFA headquarters this past weekend, and I saw Dr Danny Jordaan and Coach Carlos Alberto Perreira - obviously at a distance, but I could hear what they were saying. Parreira announced his 23 man squad to Jordaan rather swiftly, but being the eavesdropper I am, I heard it and I can even confirm the kit numbers the players will be sporting, come 11 June 2010.

You heard it first from Sihle Mlambo

1. - Moeneeb Josephs - GK

2. - S'boniso

John Morapedi Football truth

Ladies and Gentlemen

It is with sorrow that i have to share this with you. Looking at the state of affairs of our football which is not a true reflection of the PSL brand. It is very disturbing that great teams that used to torment their oppossitions are not living to that standard. I am referring to Pirates and Chiefs. It is disturbing to note that average players could sign for this teams. Some players contribute to the constant failure of these team's effort to reclaim their

Neil Greig A vicious circle – that’s our football industry…

As the ball spins around so too does the vicious circle we find ourselves in.

Most PSL players rise to fame too quickly, which almost always ends in a slippery fall off the pedestal and back to reality.

Reason is fans are starving for genuine stars and the whole industry is to blame in some way for feeding this appetite.

Before Mzansi has celebrated a rising star, another one falls by the way side as quickly as Josep Ngake used to get to the byline.

That the… Continue

Reatile Motsatsi Teko destroying his world cup chances

I would like to appeal to teko modise to enjoy his socer career now because he is ageing and not playing and this might hinder his psl chances and i would also like to advice him to partake in every derby because his place is not secured in any of the teams he plays for. I love the way you play but control your idiosyncrasy

Kelly Okoro Hayatou Please Resign Honorably

For Issa Hayatou and CAF to have banned Togo for a period of 4 years inspite of their predicament is a bad news not suitable for the ears. For crying out loud, Togo FA did not just withdraw their players from the tournament for celebration of National Holidays for God's sake. Come to think of it, if it were Cameroun players that had the attack and Kameni was the one having those bullets in his body, do you think CAF will still react the same it reacted in the case of Togo. This Man is a triba

Lee Mutekede TOGO BAN: ISSA HAYATOU ERA MUST END

The recent ban on the Togo national team by CAF is a gross abuse of power by that man at the helm of African football. After assuring the Togolese that they will not be sanctioned for any decision that they will take following that tragic shooting in Cabinda, the "Chief" of African football has made a shocking about turn to deliver the most embarrassing and hypocritical decision that I have ever seen or heard in African Football. The decisions raises more questions than answers about the sanity… Continue

Tiyani wa ka Mabasa TOGO BAN EXPOSES HAYATOU FRAILTIES

Issa Hayatou CAF President Issa Hayatou was apparently good in basketball, so good he was a member of the Cameroon national basketball team for the first All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo in 1965 and that’s where he should have remained. I wrote this an angry man in the middle of the night, afte… Continue
