12 games as Bafana coach, won - 4, lost-5 & drew 3....whats your view about Gordon "We played well" Ingusand? In 12 games that BB played under him, is there progress in BB? Do you agree with what the media sees in him that he is a mesiah? Do u agree with GI when he always says....we played well? If you were @ SAFA, would you keep him as BB coach until 2018?
Lets talk GI as Bafana coach since he took-over, 12 games is good enough to judge him.
Do you expect the coach to say we played kak in public? What would that do to his players? what do we want kanti in a coach, motivator or de-motivator?
You totally missed the point. Freddyboy wants your opinion on Gordon's performance as coach. The rest is secondary.
"You missed the hole"
I don't know what it says about our SAFA President. They went into contract with Igesund with two clear mendates: "Get to semifinals in Afcon2013 and qualify for Brazil 2014 World Cup." So far one mendate has not been met, and the president is ready to extend the contract despite the mendates. What was the use of them if they are not going to hold anyone responsible?
Was SAFA excutive consulted? I dont think so cause some are distancing themselves from the 2018 story
I gues it's only fair to wait until the qualifiers are over then take stock. He has failed the first mendate but maybe he will pass the second one.
Yes Bheki we should wait for the second mendate, but SAFA is not willing to wait for that they want to extend the contract now
Bheki...am talking ka the last 12 games that he was incharge
It's a poor record Fred, as far as I'm copncerned the wins should at least make up to 60% of the games to see that there is progress.
Ja,ne? We played well

If that is what is meant by playing well, we might as well forget about Brazil 2014, considering that the bulk were friendlies organised by the likes of Mr Nematandani!
The only thing worse than glorifying mediocrity, is mistaking it for the real thing. We didn't do as well as we should have as a host nation and an erstwhile continental footballing powerhouse, because we have previously scaled the heights and surely a quarter-final exit cannot and should not be considered a good performance - that is good enough for the likes of Cape Verde, not Bafana Bafana!
How scientific can one get, Honourable Mr Mbalula?
Hehehehehe, SA can realistically now beat its Southern African counterparts...except Zambia of course.
